Lloyds Building

1 Lime St, London EC3M 7HA

The Office

Another iconic London building is the Lloyds building, often referred to as the ‘inside-out building.’ This unique building is home to Lloyd’s of London, an insurance and reinsurance company. The building is located on the former East India Building site which was demolished in 1861. Bowellism then designed and opened the building in 1961, which 25 years later the building was granted Grade 1 listing, the youngest building to obtain this status.

The Lloyds building optimises inside space by placing lifts and ducts on the exterior of the building, generating more space inside. The office space offers a floor to ceiling height of 3m as well as 24 hour access and security. The location of the office space to let is only a short walk from Bank, Aldersgate and Liverpool Street Stations and therefore offers great links around the city. Please get in touch to discuss current availability.
